Project description

The Louis Vuitton Foundation was born out of a meeting between Bernard Arnaud and Frank Gehry, one of the philanthropic work of art and culture developed by the LVMH Group. A glass sailboat, Ductal, steel and wood that integrates the codes of the great Parisian windows and unique works of the Capital.

An architectural challenge combining innovation and technique requiring ten years for its study and realization. Performance in studies, construction and BIM applications, to arrive at the culmination of an exceptional architectural work: 13500m ² of fiberglass surface, 19000 individually unique Ductal plates, 11 exhibition galleries and an auditorium at the foot of a captivating waterfall.

It is by developing the first BIM methodological processes for this project that we won the “Vinci Innovation Award”.
